Since BRAC Systems rely on gravity for gray water to drain from your baths or showers, owners with single-level homes on a slab foundation (or other single-level structures) require the Sump and Pump Kit to pump gray water up to the system’s inlet. The sump is installed in the foundation or floor below the level of the lowest drain from which you intend to capture gray water.
As gray water collects in the sump, a float-activated sump pump elevates the gray water to the inlet of the system. Standard plumbing codes will permit a maximum of four tubs or showers to be drained through the 2″ inlet port of the sump basin. This kit includes a tank, lid, sump pump, pump manual and two-year warranty.
